A delivery moves through the same simple loop every time, and everyone involved can see where it is.

    A partner business sends the order with its pickup and drop-off details and releases it to nearby drivers.

    A driver accepts

    Approved drivers who are online see the delivery. The first one to accept it gets it.

  3. 03

    The driver collects it

    They head to the pickup point and give the order reference. The business confirms the handover.

  4. 04

    You follow along

    The customer sees the driver's live location and an estimated arrival time on a map.

  5. 05

    It's delivered

    The driver completes the delivery in the app. If something goes wrong, they report it and the order goes back to the business.

Delivery without running a fleet

Simple, distance-based pricing

The fee is worked out from the distance between pickup and drop-off. A base fee covers the pickup, and every kilometre adds a set amount. All prices are in South African rand.

Good to know

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver in Cape Town and surrounds, up to 20 km from the pickup point. If you need something further out, get in touch and we will see what is possible.

How are drivers approved?

Every driver applies in the app with their ID or passport number, vehicle details and driver's licence number. Our team reviews each application, and a driver can only accept deliveries once they have been approved.

How do I follow my delivery?

When you order through a business that uses On The Go, you can see the driver's live location, the distance left and an estimated arrival time on a map once a driver has accepted your delivery.

How do I pay?

Delivery fees are paid in rand through a secure payment provider. We do not store your card details.

Can I cancel a delivery?

Yes, until a driver has accepted it. After that, contact us straight away and we will do our best to help. See our refunds and cancellations page for the details.

What if my delivery does not arrive?

Contact us with your order reference. If we could not complete your delivery, you will not pay the delivery fee, or we will refund it.

How do I become a driver?

Create your account, add your vehicle details and we will review your application. Everything you need is on the Drive with us page.

Is my location tracked all the time?

No. A driver's location is shared only while they are online or on a delivery. When they go offline, sharing stops.
